We help those seeking holistic healing achieve emotional balance and wellness so that they can live with confidence, clarity, and a deeper connection to themselves.
I'm truly honored that you've entrusted me to embark on this therapeutic journey alongside you.
As a therapist and a fellow individual who is quite familiar with the majestic peaks and the harsh valleys of our human experience, I understand the importance of holding a secure, safe, and abundantly compassionate space filled with warmth and thoughtful considerations of your challenges as you enter the therapeutic space with me.
Additionally, I recognize the importance of my showing up in our shared space as an authentic person – and I can guarantee that the cold clinical encounters of the typical therapy experience does not exist in my corner of the world.
I’m on your side, very much like a friend, but with the perspective that only a therapist can offer. You will also find that I’m light-hearted and don’t take myself too seriously. Oh, and I curse in my therapy sessions. :)
I have substantial experience working with post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, panic, emotional and physical abuse, childhood/complex trauma, domestic violence, sexuality, and gender-identity concerns as well as healing from narcissistic/toxic relationship dynamics and establishing boundaries.
In addition, I am experienced working with individuals in alternative lifestyles. This includes, but not limited to: individuals involved in sex work, non-monogamy, kink and other relationship dynamics, and non-conventional spiritual practices.
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Delaware Valley University
I live in the Greater Philadelphia area. I was born and grew up in the beautiful, vast Mojave Desert in Southern California. I have a cat, Sugar, and a mischievous Dachshund named Franc. In my recreational moments, I like to practice yoga (currently studying to be a certified yoga instructor), ride quads in the desert, travel, read, and rock out at concerts. :)
I accept you completely as you are and welcome you to the healing space.
I'm here to guide you toward a healthier relationship with food and support your wellness journey with personalized nutrition care and holistic healing.
Whether you’re interested in eating for mental wellness, managing food allergies, intolerances, or kidney disease, I offer a compassionate, whole-person approach that addresses your unique needs. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community and am passionate about using nutrition to improve mental health. Since food can significantly impact how you feel, I focus on making nutrition an empowering adjunct to therapy, helping you feel your best — inside and out.
In addition to nutrition counseling, I offer Sekhem energy healing to support your overall well-being, helping to release energy blockages and promote emotional balance.
As an integrative and functional nutritionist, I take a whole-food approach to support lasting health and well-being. I use a variety of counseling techniques, including motivational interviewing, parts work, and somatic practices, to ensure the changes we make together are sustainable and tailored to you. I also create customized meal plans that are designed to nourish your body, support your health goals, and fit into your lifestyle. My goal is to make healthy eating enjoyable, accessible, and aligned with your lifestyle, so you can thrive.
With over ten years of experience as a dietitian, I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Immaculata University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from La Salle University. I’ve also served on the Tri-State Renal Dietitian Association board for six years and am currently the Chair-Elect.
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, I enjoy traveling to film events, reading, listening to music, and exploring new hobbies in my free time.
Currently offering telehealth services for residents of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, I collaborate with your other health practitioners to create a comprehensive team approach to your care.
I’m excited to work with you!
Approximately 95% of serotonin — a key neurotransmitter for mood regulation — is produced in the gut, along with 50% of dopamine, which plays a major role in motivation and pleasure. What you eat directly influences your gut health, impacting the production and regulation of these vital brain chemicals. That’s why focusing on nutrition is so powerful for supporting your mental health and emotional well-being.
